Hello there!

Thanks for stopping by! I'm Cindy, the proud owner of Baked By Cindy. In 2020, my family and I made the move from Vancouver, B.C. to West Kelowna. It’s always been a dream of mine to have my own cake business, and I'm grateful to do what I love in a community I love.

A little about my journey.

In June 2010, I pursued my passion for baking by attending the Art Institute of Vancouver, specializing in Baking & Pastry Arts. I fully immersed myself into the world of desserts, committing myself not only to creating delectable treats but also indulging in the pleasure of savouring as many as I can. I have also become a coffee addict along the way (as pictured).

The following three years after graduating were dedicated to honing my skills at Coast Restaurant (Glowbal Group) in Downtown Vancouver as a pastry cook, learning from esteemed chefs and gaining insights into the dynamics of a high-class restaurant. Afterward, my journey led me to Hansel & Gretel Bakery in Maple Ridge at the end of 2015, where I served as the head cake & macaron specialist until 2018. It was here that I discovered my passion for crafting custom cakes, from design to execution.

In 2019, Baked by Cindy came to life, focusing on creating memorable pieces for birthdays and life's significant milestones. Crafting cakes for all of you has been an absolute joy, and I look forward to continuing this delicious endeavor.
